So as to appeal to a broader audience, the Sportage had to tick the boxes that mainstream crossover buyers looked for, while retaining its distinctive style. The lastgeneration SL Sportage Had plenty of design and, on paper, provided a great deal of goodies for its price point. Compared to the entries in the section, it lacked polish.
